Theodore Anthony Nugent is an American singer, guitarist, songwriter, and political activist who has sold more than 40 million albums. He’s also known by the nicknames “Uncle Ted”, “the Nuge”, and “Motor City Madman”. Nugent’s first three albums, Ted Nugent (1975), Free-for-All (1976), and Cat Scratch Fever (1977), were all certified platinum. His most popular songs include “Stranglehold” and “Cat Scratch Fever”.
